It's also easy to push and feels solid in navigating kerbs or woodland pathways. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate lightweight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, due to its extremely nimble handling and fold-down that fits into aeroplane overhead luggage. The most recent version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels constructed of Hytrel elastomer, which allows it to perfectly traverse all types and terrains'.

The base YOYO2 frame along with the curved fabric bassinet and the 6+ month colour pack come together to make a stylish and elegant pushchair that is easy on the eye, with a subtle but elegant design and a tasteful branding. The frame's weight alone is just under a kilo and is so light that you can easily lift it out of the box (and do so one-handed).

It's also simple to add or remove adaptors or attachments like the hood for instance, snaps on to the YOYO2 with reassuring clicks and is machine washable to help deter staining from rice cakes that have been smashed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. It can be used as a pram starting from birth using the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to stroller at 6 months by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great option for parents seeking a stroller that is versatile. It transforms from a stroller to wagon by simply flipping the handle, so parents can choose the option they want to use on their journey. The wagon can accommodate one or two kids from 6 months old to 5 years, and it has a wide storage basket to accommodate all of your on-the-go needs.

The Xplore comes with two canopy options that rotate from front-to-back, providing adequate sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell that's not as deep or large as some wagons, so it may not be ideal for longer trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels solid and sturdy but it doesn't have the same flex as some of the other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the other models and does not close tightly when folded. It is easy to move, however, and it can fit through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents looking for a secondary stroller that's priced reasonably. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size that means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a car trunk or closet. It also offers a multi-position reclining seat and an adult cup holder. Other important features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels, as well as two large hanging storage bags.

In our test of the push and turn it performed better than the majority of other Cheap single pushchair strollers we test, but it's not the most comfortable to maneuver over uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. Its sunshades were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top, and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger canopies.

The seat can be reclined using one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to get their child in and out. Although it is a small pushchair, it was able to handle the everyday bumps with ease and went through doorways without any fuss.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward-facing position, or they can pivot. This is useful in rough terrain. While walking along the stony path we let them swivel and it did this quite well, though it did appear more bumpy than the other models that we tested.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is famous for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler jogging pushchairs, but they also make a good assortment of strollers with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It folds easily and can fit in the car's boot even with an attached carrycot.

It's a little heavier than other strollers we test, but the wheels are a rubber composite so it feels well-made and durable. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all types of terrain. It's easy to carry even with two children and a shopping bag.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be removed to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are showerproof and sturdy, unlike some other pram hoods that are turned back into toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space but it has a large basket deep enough to hold a changing bag or plenty of groceries. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to take a stroller with you on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that captured the hearts of a lot of parents when it first came out. It's an aluminum-framed stroller which can be used from infant's earliest days through. It comes with a variety of stand-out features including the ability to flip the seat to be parent-facing and world-facing, a huge UPF 50+ canopy, a flip out eyeshade as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are durable and filled with foam, which reduces the risk of punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension that eases the pain of bumpy terrain. It was easy to push and our test driver was able to maneuver the vehicle through narrow streets.

It folds down in four easy steps, and locks automatically with no fuss. It can also be folded and stood up for easier transport down the stairs or in the boot of the car. The travel system is also offered with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes come with a single action and are color coded. They also are compatible with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget pushchair is easy to operate and features a fantastic dual suspension. It can be folded using just one hand, and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also super lightweight and durable. The seat can be reclined into a variety of different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress built in that is suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat features two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors and both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal since it's not as silent as Velcro and could wake up napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be adapted to take twins or siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be set so that they face each the other. They can also be oriented towards the parents. This will help reduce sibling disputes over who gets seated with mom and dad. It comes with a large bottle holder, gear tray as well as snack trays and a change mat. It also has an automatic frame lock as well as a Compact Reversible Stroller with Belly Bar - Rich Black fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most infant car seats and bassinets however, you can use them from the very first day with adapters that fit brands such as BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes about 5-10 minutes to assemble without tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and includes multiple languages.
