The robot isn't equipped with other aspects that are expected of the type of robot it is. The mops are excellent however their maximum runtime of 60 minutes is less than we would like to have in a product with such a high price. It doesn't even vacuum after a mopping session, or automatically empty into its charging station.

It's still a great option for those with large homes, as the mapping and cleaning processes are quick and efficient. The app is easy to use, and it allows you to make schedules. You can still use the remote to control the device if you do not have a strong WiFi connection.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision might be expensive however its numerous clever features make the difference. The live monitoring of your home is fantastic and it looks cool too. It's a great option for anyone who has pets, small children, or anyone who is looking to monitor their home even when they're away. It is also able to create customized cleaning routines that you can activate by pressing a button, such as an "After Meals" mode that intensely vacuums and scrubs kitchen floors.

This two-in-one has a special feature not found on other robots: VibraRise, which raises the mopping plate once it senses carpeting so that it doesn't get area rugs wet, making mopping more efficient. It also features a deep-cleaning mode that mops and vacuums carpets in one pass cleaning more dust and dirt than spinning mops can. You can also utilize the app to set the schedule for your regular cleaning or clean on demand.

While the S7 Max Ultra does a great job at its intended tasks, it's not without drawbacks. The most significant is the price. It's the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combo I've ever reviewed. The other issues aren't specific to this particular model, but more typical of robotic vacuums as a whole It isn't able to handle heavy spills and large, sticky messes well.

The S7 Max Ultra is easy to setup: just connect it to the internet and then sync it to your phone via Wi-Fi, and start a cleaning run. Once you've completed that, you can customize its settings in the app, including setting no-go zones, and scheduling cleanings.

Its remarkable obstacle avoidance is another big plus. During testing, it only got stuck twice in tight spaces, which is significantly superior to the S6 MaxV's three attempts and the X1 Omni's four attempts. The app lets you mark an object as a temporary obstruction, and the S7 Max Ultra will ignore it in future cleanings.

Narwal Freo
